I was reading up on emo culture today and I've formed the opinion that they are the way they are to make me feel better about the way I handled my childhood. It makes me happy to know I didn't have to wear makeup and cry all the time about how my parents didn't buy all the things I wanted. How terrible my life was living in a house with electricity and heat, food I didn't have to fight my siblings to eat, I didn't have to share a bed with my ENTIRE family. Oh, let's not forget the horrible reallity of not having to be a human trafficked sex slave in Bangkok, or make Nikes in Thirdworldville. Man, now that I think of it, I had a crappy childhood! Well, time to color all of my comics black and wonder why no one loves me!
Oh! Today's strip is an unintentional tip of the hat to another comic here on smackjeeves. It's one of my personal favorites and you should check it out! http://bearversuszombies.smackjeeves.com/
